Real Estate Stats are always fun but usually they are boring. (Really boring) This slideshare gives a colorful look at some great numbers and stats that agents everywhere can use. Our favorite is…
Between 2009 – 20013, real estate related Google searches increased by 253%
that’s a big number! But this slideshow includes more than just the Google stats it also includes:
- Today’s Real Estate Market
- The industry at a glance (big picture)
- Supply (hopefully your area has it)
- Real Estate Search (our favorite category)
- Real Estate Advertising (where does all the money go?)
Real Estate Stats for 2014
There was a tipping point last year that has major implications for agents, brokers and brands focusing on the real estate industry. It will impact publishing and marketing strategies and tactics in the future.
Consumer use of online search reached an all-time high of 92% for home related search and crested to almost 60% mobile and tablet usage on weekends. No one expected it to happen this rapidly. One more reason to have a WordPress based real estate site so you can be in the forefront of all of these people searching for valuable information that you could be providing.
When you consider that there were over 5 million residential sales last year the value of the online experience takes on a whole new meaning. This trend that is not going away anytime soon.
While people still need a human touch to solidify their buying decisions, their information gathering process is now dominated by the digital tools we have all come to rely on.
